Associated Press: Orbán is increasingly determined to block the EU
Giorgia Meloni, Italy’s Prime Minister visited Brussels. The author of an Associated Press article in the US reflected on this.
Raf Cesart writes in the US newspaper that Italian PM Giorgia Meloni visited Brussels on Thursday to make it clear that Italy will cooperate on common EU affairs. He added that the politician and her party had previously raised doubts among many Brussels politicians about their principles, which question liberal democracy, Mandiner writes.
He writes that Meloni’s criticisms are similar to those heard in Poland and Hungary. The self-identified illiberal Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has, according to the author, been increasingly obstructing the EU for years, which requires the full agreement of its members to make the most important decisions.

The obliterator in having Hungary, as a member of the Family of European countries – our PROUD name – humiliated, leaving millions of Hungarians shamed, embarrassed and disgusted, the FUTURE – of our membership in the European Union – in a Perilous position.
Hungarians knowing that without membership of the European Union, we Hungary, could be placed in a position, that the outcome or our FUTURE is in a position of inescapability to survive.
The obliterator, mentioned AGAIN in this article, is none other than Victor Orban.
